| Richard Vera, MD
Dr. Richard Vera is fellowship-trained and board certified
in pain management. He completed a comprehensive pain
fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in
Baltimore, Maryland. His prior training included medical
education at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston
and an anesthesia residency at UT Southwestern here in
Dallas. Upon completion of his fellowship, he went into
practice at the Baylor Center for Pain Management in Dallas,
where he has treated patients for nine years. His practice has
continued to grow as a result of his interdisciplinary
approach, compassionate personality, access to sophisticated
technology, and his extensive experience. He has
authored chapters in an orthopedic textbooks as well as
journal articles. Dr. Vera serves as the medical director for the
Baylor Center for Pain Management in Frisco as well as a new
pain management center located in Grapevine on the Baylor
campus. He is married to with two children.
